All this recent talk about fire trucks forced me to get going and take
some pics of the apparatus I've had build for quite some time now.
Most of the pictures are of my Vision Pumper II, but I've also got two
of a rural style pumper, and three of a fire SUV (Sport Utility
Vehicle), that without the lights, could double as a regular town
vehicle.
You can find all three of them here:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=411
Of course all of these creations, being six studs wide, can seat two
(or more) minifigs side by side.
I've also updated my site, Sixby Fire Tech, with the Vision Pumper II,
but the rural pumper and SUV, and some larger pictures of the Vision
Pumper II are only on BrickShelf. There are captions on many of the
photos on my site explaining some details. Since I can't readily do
this on BrickShelf I've also included a .txt file with some "real
world" data, and some of the equipment that the Vision Pumper II
carries to supplement the pictures there.
LEGO purists take note, some of the elements have been modified on my
Vision Pumper II and rural pumper, but the SUV is built from regular,
non-modified, LEGO elements.
