Yea, its real nice that well get twice as much track as before in a box,
Even if itall plastic. But it sucks that its a 50/50 mix of straight and
curved rail.

To be fair all round, how many AFOLs will be buying plastic track expansion
packs anyway? Jake said theyd keep making the metal track for hobby
layouts. This pack is for the younger kids targeted by the battery trains,
not train clubs who want mile-long straight runs. I think we need only be
concerned if metal track on shop-At-Home gets repackaged like this.
My concern is how well the new sets can sell. Im sure theres demand, but
for a system thats cheaper to produce, why stuff in so much content as to
push the price point right back up again?

The only benefit I could see is you can use this stuff for the sidings or static
displays. That way you dont waist the good stuff for trains that will just sit
there.
