Re: a town structure contest!! <- $200 in prizes

(...) [...] (...) Ondrew, I am writing just to say that it is very cool that you have decided to do something like this. I also wrote to say that I won't be entering... it's not because I don't want to build and share. It's just that I learned that (...) Wow. Clearly you have been touched by His Noodly Appendage. What a wonderful MOC. (19 years ago, 5-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Registry for Track Designer - new version available

(...) Pierre, Thanks for putting this together. My modified points should be showing up in the mail any day now, and now I don't have to use straight and curved tracks to stand in for the modified points! Chris (19 years ago, 5-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.cad)

(...) Thanks! Of course, with it being the 4th of January, this year's MOC list has to be pretty short... ;) (19 years ago, 5-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

--SNIP-- (...) I think I can see a gap on the round brick but the slopes look flush. Could be microsnottery or just some discrete edges. Tim (19 years ago, 5-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.town)

(...) Does anyone know how this was done? (URL) do I detect a small gap above the bend? Andreas (19 years ago, 5-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.town)

  Re: 4 New MOCs

(...) Brandon I enjoyed looking at your NYC diorama when you brought it to a WAMALUG meeting. I seem to recall lots of nice details that aren't really noticeable in your photos. It's a shame more people can't see how good your stuff is. -Daniel (...) (19 years ago, 4-Jan-06, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.military)

  New 2006 sets (7891 and 7890)

I went into a toy store today to see if there was anything interesting. I rarely buy LEGO nowadays, thanks to Town jr, bley, declining quality of set designs and whatnot, but I like to check it out from time to time. I saw these two sets, and just (...) (19 years ago, 4-Jan-06, to lugnet.town)

(...) The LEGO version of the Noodly Lord is now my desktop image. It replaced this wonderful pic (by Mijasper on BShelf): (URL) The FSM Church is easily one of the best MOCs I've seen this year! -Lenny (19 years ago, 4-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: LEGO-ized Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster

(...) Yeah, that's one of things I wish I had been better able to get across - the church is pretty darn massive, but it's hard to tell that unless you're looking a it in person. (...) Thanks - it wasn't particularly hard work - but overcoming a (...) (19 years ago, 4-Jan-06, to lugnet.town)

Re: LEGO-ized Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster

THAT IS SO KOOL! Lot's to see here, dang. Plus the side shots show just how big this build really is. That's great. I checked it all out on your web site (which I think is really nice!) This build must have been A LOT of work. There are so many (...) (19 years ago, 4-Jan-06, to lugnet.town)

(...) This sounds great! Thanks for thinking of it and putting it all together. This will surely entice me to get my hands on a camera much more quickly than planned. Thanks again, Onderw! Jonathan (19 years ago, 4-Jan-06, to lugnet.town)

Re: LEGO-ized Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster

(...) Thanks! I've always been impressed by the attention to detail in the Town MOCs I've seen - I tried to aim for a similar level. (...) I survived it when Serenity got slashdotted - if you think this'll make the cut there, by all means post away. (...) (19 years ago, 4-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: LEGO-ized Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster

(...) Chris, Oh my noodly goodness, this is great. The detail you've added (the air conditioner, the shadowed tentacles, the wheelchair lift) raises this above the usual funny MOC. And then the hilarious figs, Dr. Strangelove, the strippers, gosh, (...) (19 years ago, 4-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)
