(...) I have to come see this. I live in Northville, and though I don't have anything built for such a layout, I must see this in person. It's absolutely gorgeous. My father worked in the Fisher building way back when, so I have a lot of fond (...) (20 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

| | Snotcycle - spacecraft built on a one-piece motorcycle

This is a spacecraft I built using an idea I had when I was a kid that I was never able to complete. It uses only the top 2 studs on the rear of a one-piece motorcycle and the taillight stud for an anchor. When I was younger it seemed like a really (...) Wow. That is ungodly huge. Nicely detailed too. Every other building on the layout's gonna be a speck next to it. -Stefan- (20 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

| | Detroit's Fisher Building in minifig scale.

I just finished a very large Lego minifig scale replica of the Fisher Building, a 28 story skyscraper in Detroit, Michigan. This structure will be displayed as part of the MichLUG train display at GATS in Novi Michigan, March 5th and 6th, 2005. (...) (20 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX) !!

Hey Sean, This is way cool! The figs actually look to me like they're ice skating, which suggests an ice rink as a possible MOC. Perhaps the Brick Apple could use a Rockefeller Plaza creation? I'm curious, when a work like this is commissioned for (...) (20 years ago, 16-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)
