Re: BrickTopia - Road & Rail Cargo Center

(...) Thanks - That "real" building looks cool. Do you have any larger pics? Perhaps you could forward the link, if applicable? (21 years ago, 26-Apr-04, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: BrickTopia - Road & Rail Cargo Center

(...) Thanks for the feedback. I agree that the white ramps are quite obnoxious looking and interrupt the vertical thrust of the building. They are there explicitly to add rather blatant dissonance. Not only does the shape not match, but the "white" (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-04, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Amish Farm

(...) But where art the rest of the detail shots? Anyone "churning the butter" in the house? And when this was at the train show, was there anyone in a straw hat attacking the power regulators? (2 URLs) AndroDan>> Tony Hafner (URL) www.hafhead.com> (21 years ago, 26-Apr-04, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Amish Farm

Cooleth! In addition to the barn construction itself, my favorite details are the guy stripping bark off of logs, the buggies, and what looks to be a hand-pushed lawnmower leaning against the house (could you put up a clearer picture of this?). I'm (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-04, to lugnet.town, FTX)

(...) white ramps look tacked on and really don't flow well with the rest of the building. Adrian (21 years ago, 26-Apr-04, to lugnet.town)

Re: BrickTopia - Road & Rail Cargo Center

(...) Nice. A train passing beneath and through a tall building reminded me of a building in downtown San Diego, America Plaza, and its trolley station. (URL) (I couldn't find any really good pics.) Although the trolley's tracks don't go through the (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-04, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: foliage and structures posting

(...) glad you liked them. that was an idea that came together as i playing with the bamboo pieces. i really liked the shape they made when it came together.   Re: foliage and structures posting

(...) I like your garden models, particularly the two above. The bush was nice and simple to make from 20 of the 3-leaf parts from Ninja castles. The apple tree was a bit more difficult. I'm guessing you used about 6 6x5 and 2 4x3 plant leaves. The (...) (21 years ago, 25-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town, FTX)
