  miniland scale models

Hey guys, I want to build miniland scale, but I don't know exactly how to approach it. I can build the figures, but I can't do the cars or buildings very well. I don't have much attention to detail. Later, Joshua (21 years ago, 1-Jul-03, to lugnet.town)

Wow. I've been to Berkeley several times (my fiance is an Old Blue), and I'm really impressed.   6658 box scan

Hi all, I'm looking for a scan of the back of the box of set 6658 (minifig scale front end loader), if anybody has it. I'd love to see pictures of the alternate model ideas. Many thanks in advance. (21 years ago, 1-Jul-03, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: lego elevator

Hey guys, I built a lego elevator, but it's not attached to any buildings. It is ten minifig stories high. I want to build a building around it,but I don't want to build so high. I,also, can't figure out what to build around it. Any suggestions? (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jun-03, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Tradesman's Ute

(...) Thanks Tim. I'm sure I've seen pneumatic hoses used in a similar way before, but I can't think where. I've seen so many great building ideas in the past year it's impossible to keep track of them all. Isn't Lugnet great? :) Cheers, Allister (21 years ago, 25-Jun-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

  Re: Tradesman's Ute

(...) Thanks Richie. (...) True enough. This is one of the remaining 1.7%. This was a rendering of a specific ute, and since the real one was yellow, so was the model. When I make one for myself I'll make it in genuine white. For extra authenticity (...) (21 years ago, 25-Jun-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

  Re: Tradesman's Ute

(...) Nice work! I'm a bit concerned about the colour choice... IIRC 98.3% of tradesmen's utes are white! ;-) The dropsides are inspired, and the compressor is a masterpiece of minimalist design. My favourite part is the trailer though... a classic (...) (21 years ago, 25-Jun-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

  Tradesman's Ute

Hi all, We've had a builder in over the last few weeks renovating our house. He did a fantastic job working around our crooked old house, and I knew he has a five y.o. son, so as a bonus 'payment' I made a version of his ute and trailer (complete (...)
