Re: New Moc, AC Cobra, V8 Muscle car, minifig scale naturally

Realy nice car, I like both the real Cobra and the LEGO one. Since the model is 6 wide; where do you get the tires? But you should have made it in another color, it is hard to see the details on the LEGO-model when it is made with only black parts. (...) (...) Very nice, Fiona. The pics you saw were probably from John Gerlach's page: (URL) is much too modest a guy to say so I see...;-) I have also built trees in this fashion though I haven't photographed them yet. Perhaps I will.... JOHN (21 years ago, 12-May-03, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.town)

Re: That's not a tree, this is a tree...

(...) I have bounght a lot of paradisa sets recently (seaside cabana £1.74 MISB in my local co-op last year) consequently I also have an also lot of pink plates and white arches. I also have a tendency to buy them on bricklink when I see them. I (...) (21 years ago, 12-May-03, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.town)

Re: New Moc, the Leyland Mini

Hi Another upload at last... Not sure when this car was originally released, or manufactured in the model i have based it on, or any other details like that... i just like the look of this car. I like the 6-wide models with seating for two abreast, (...) (21 years ago, 12-May-03, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.town, lugnet.modelteam)

(...) I wish they did too. How did you get so many? I remember the club magazine had an 'ideas' page one Christmas that suggested making a holly wreath from leaf pieces, which I though was ridiculous as no-one could have enough. (...)   Re: Box Art for 2003 LEGO World City Products!

Yes! The man back to bring you down! Lego has returned to its classic theme of police opression and incarceration of nonconformists, hippies, people with stubble, and criminals. The return of the police state is key. I won't be able to collect (...) (21 years ago, 12-May-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

Re: Box Art for 2003 LEGO World City Products!

In the words of Big Kev - I'M EXCITED! I see lots of trans-black - are those quater cyclinder panels in trans black on the police station? - lots of wheels in grey, 6 wide trucks and some interesting new slopes. Looks like some nice sets coming up. (...) (21 years ago, 12-May-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

Those are magnificant! If you don't mind, I'm definetly going to be using some of those tree designs for my work-in-progress Starcraft diorama. :) (21 years ago, 12-May-03, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.town)
