  Re: Blue 8-wide pickup

(...) Thanks! Um....looking up acronyms...hmm...MEATS? Jeff (22 years ago, 6-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Blue 8-wide pickup

Cool! A friend of mine used to have an old CSS, and I have a newer Dakota. It's great to see a custom Dodge, as the Ferd and Chebbie guys dominate the shows.. I like big MEATS on your MOC too! Darrell (22 years ago, 6-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

Re: The "return" of Town in 2003

(...) You may find these sets now called 'Junior' instead of Jack Stone. They are exactly the same. We have had the new road plates for a while, and what we have noticed is that on the back of the pack where you have the suggestions for your town, (...)   Re: The "return" of Town in 2003 - new road plates sighted

Kmart Brunswick - new WIDE roads. Picture shows "Cre8r"&"Jax" dudes living in relative harmony with "Minis". No 2003 catlogs though. Sorry didn't check price. I am happy to see new road plates, I used to love mixing up my Road, Crater and Space (...) (22 years ago, 6-Mar-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Modified 4600

Hey a response! I was beginning to think that this moc has the Jack Stone kiss of death and folk were avoiding is as such, or that maybe it just isn't a very good model. (...) You'll have to forgive me - I'm not familiar it, but thanks. (...) I'll (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Modified 4600

(...) Jack Stone is not as bad as most people think... and the scale does allow for greater detail without making vehicles ridiculously large. And then there's technic fig scale :-) Cheers Richie Dulin (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

Re: Plasticity MOCs: mountain, heaven, and more

(...) <snip really great pics of really great MOCs!!> (...) polarity switches! Golly! I'd love to get some more details on what's going on here. Are there six separate loops, or have you used insulated connections to create six control blocks? If (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

  Re: New Vehicles on Brickshelf

(...) Cool! That would put it at about miniland scale, or as I like to call it-- 8 wide....gauge:-) JOHN (22 years ago, 3-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

  Re: New Vehicles on Brickshelf

(...) John, My first version was 6-wide but I just couldn't cram all the details I wanted to into it. Next up I think I'll go even older and bigger (wider) and use the big red spoked wheels from the 390-1913 Cadillac set :) -- Bill (TooMuchDew) (22 years ago, 3-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

  Re: New Vehicles on Brickshelf

(...) Thanks George, I really wish LEGO came out with the Car Base 4 x 5 with 2 Seats (URL) red, white, black, oh heck, the whole LEGO palette. I think I'm gonna try to make a second copy paring it down to the least amount of parts and no modified (...) (22 years ago, 3-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)
