One of the enduring challenges of LEGO is not to make BIG
trucks look real, but small trucks. Well done!
I have a few of the old axle sets for cars and trucks that were
built into the bottom of a 2x2 brick. They include reasonably
realistic single and dual tires. I'll build a little truck
and post photos soon.
Will, you might want to look at my 4-wide cabover tractor and apply
your considerable skills to a hook&ladder unit...

Keep up the good work!
