Re: Translink (Vancouver) New Flyer Low Floor Bus

(...) Yup, next time you are on the bus durring rush hour, appreciate the amount of room you have. Compare it to the 1 seat in each row on a lego version! Next year I will have to make a 60 foot articulated bus for the layout. Let's see how much of (...) (22 years ago, 31-Oct-02, to lugnet.town)

Translink (Vancouver) New Flyer 40' LF

I finally got some pics of my Translink Bus that was displayed at the VLC's latest show in Chilliwack. I built it for one of the options we considered for our layout this year. One of the plans was to build a Lego Vancouver. I created a few vehicles (...) (22 years ago, 29-Oct-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Curved Glass Skyscraper

(...) Thanks. The BrickLink bills were about $200 for the clear and white panels. I already had the rest of the pieces. I don't consider this too much though because before BrickLink, I'd have to spend $500 or more buying sets to get the pieces I (...) (22 years ago, 28-Oct-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Curved Glass Skyscraper

(...) Thanks. This one took about 2 weeks, mainly because I had to wait for more panels, and although construction was easy, the design to keep the building from falling apart was tricky. (22 years ago, 27-Oct-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Privet Drive revisited

Hi, The house is just a model of my own design. The front first floor is similar to the model in 4728, but I had to use a lot of extra pieces for the top floor and back. I ended up using all the DkGray 2x4 slopes I had for the roof. I think I will (...) (22 years ago, 27-Oct-02, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.town)
