Jeff it will be sad to see the end of the great site. I also have copies of
all your pics and a few of the pages. Like most other departments sixbies
are an inspiration , and my department will continue to use their equipment.

Most of the site will soon be taken down. This includes all the
individual apparatus pages, all the information pages and all of the
pictures. I will replace the site with a single web page with pictures
and information on a new apparatus I'm working on. This apparatus may
be the last apparatus produced by Sixby Fire Tech. This apparatus has
never been made out of LEGO, and in fact, it may not exist in real
life, at least not by name. Anyway, if you need to save any pictures
from the site for future reference, do so now. I don't have backup
pictures easily accessible, so once they're gone from the site,
they're gone.

Please don't write me asking to buy my trucks or equipment, they
aren't for sale. Nearly all of my LEGO except this single apparatus
has already been packed up. I'll be saving them for my son when he
grows up, if he wants them. My lack of interest can be traced to the
garbage sets that LEGO has been producing these last few years. My
LEGO budget last year was about $200, this year I've spent nothing,
nor do I plan too. I know LEGO has made some strides with bulk
ordering and producing classic sets again, but for me, it's too little
too late.
