  Re: Castle Builing Questions

(...) I've used a 3x2 plate with rounded corner, a 2x2 rounnd tile, a 2x2 plate, a 1x2 brick & a 1x2 tile to build one: (URL) to Toilet 3. Josh (24 years ago, 17-Apr-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.town)

  Re: Castle Builing Questions

(...) God help 'em if it's square. The Tech 2x4 plate is a real good solid LARGE hole, and to plug up the other two holes in the seat (so as not to confuse the minifigure) use a pair of 1x2 tiles as butt-bumpers. In many old castles, they didn't (...) (24 years ago, 16-Apr-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.town)

  Re: Castle Builing Questions

(...) Well...I just pretended that the seat was down. More modern (flush) toilets, made up from a 2x3 inverse slope 33%, with a 2x2 tile and a 1x2 brick topped with a 1x2 tile, the lever on one side, and the TP mounted on a 1x1 headlight brick (...)   Micro Upside down Greman WWI Triwing aircraft

Long subject... I was going to post to a micro newsgroup, but I couldn't find one, is there one? Well, on to the story: Piloted by the infamous "Red Baron" (Baron Friedrich Von Richthofen), during WWI, this red Tri-wing flew info history, and now (...)   Re: BrickTopia Public Library

(...) Seems many buildings in the US are this way, too. But that's just 'cause they put small rooms in 'em. But seriously, though, it makes sense. Many lobbies of tall buildings are the equivalent of three or four stories high. -JDF (24 years ago, 13-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: WOHO, 6671!

(...) Good luck Josh.... Fortunately for me...I saw the set by chance in a little shop in the nearest biggest city to me (Toronto) and was lucky enough to buy it. Benjamin Medinets (24 years ago, 13-Apr-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: BrickTopia Public Library

Hi, Thanks for the compliments. I have several reasons for having high ceilings: - In many forms of classical architecture, extremely high ceilings are the norm. For instance, one famouse Italian architect, Paladio, recommends having a ceilling as (...) (24 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: BrickTopia Public Library

I'm still trying to figure out where I got this. My part isn't yellowed and looks brand new. I do recall trading with someone as a kid and he had that moon landing set, but I'd be really surprised if it was in that good of shape from so long ago. I (...)   Re: BrickTopia Public Library

(...) There was also an accessory pack from the late '70s which had, I think six national flags (I have a Union Flag, a Swiss Flag and an Australian flag left) perhaps with some other bits, there may have been a Stars and Stripes in there too. (...) high ceilings, 12 or so bricks above the floor. Any particular reason to this? They seem to work well, but I'm not sure what it is I really like about it... -JDF (24 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: BrickTopia Public Library

Thanks for the compliments. Actually, I have no clue where I got that American flag. I've had it for a long time. Anyone know where these came from? Yes - The 4x4x6 curved panels were very time consuming to "clean" with Brasso! Brad Josh Baakko (...) (24 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

(...) Wow, post a message and check to see if it worked, and theres this one right there! Cool building, i've been thinking of building a library too. I like the US flag idea, i'm gonna have to track a few down (anyone got some they'd give up?). The (...) (24 years ago, 11-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  WOHO, 6671!

I recently purchased 4 of the 1x2x2 panels needed for set #6671, so i decided to build it, and i'm a few parts short right now. All i need is a 4x4 yellow plate, 2 of the 1x4 plates that are hinged, and the 2 signs ( got them somewhere here). Do you (...) (24 years ago, 11-Apr-01, to lugnet.town)
