I think the ELC (Early Learning Centre) find it cheaper to purchase Megablocks in bulk than Lego, also Lego is expensive compared to Megablocks - also its a hit with parents on low income. -- Michael - - - Please reply on medwards@ukonline.co.uk - - (...) Okay, so if we do build canals, what are yours gonna be like?? I've been wanting to build one since the working lego ones i saw at legoland, but who has the grey bricks to do the side walls?? It definitely has sections which would look like a canal (because in fact, they are canals in the sense of being man made), but don't have any locks that I know of. (...) Instead of developing a lock plate with a fixed width, why not create a 'bluff' plate--the equivalent of one of the proposed lock plates, but cut in half lengthwise. With the current offical selection going toward Jr, I am asking if anybody here would want to consider working out thier own theme using L-Draw/ML-CAD to work out the new parts and sets.
