  Re: technic furniture

At one point I was also playing with the same idea... I built only one piece: (URL) Akos (17 years ago, 22-Mar-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: technic furniture

Deborah, those are absolutely beautiful. :) Like you, I'm starting to find a use for these Technic bits in minifig scale constructions. Some of the parts came in quite handy when I built a model rocketry club for our train layout. You just gave me (...) (17 years ago, 22-Mar-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  technic furniture

many years ago i gave away my technic pieces. i felt they had no value (i know, i know, how innocent i was). i didn't feel i had a future building cranes or robots or motorized mocs, ;). how little i knew giving away those gears and things with (...)   new moc: double decker house

(URL) when our lug required a quick infill for our annual display at railfair last october, i made this double decker house with dance studio and ballroom. again, it was loosely based on a house i had seen for a brief moment on a renovation/extreme (...)   Call For BrickFair Volunteers

Hello fellow AFOL's, As you may know, BrickFair is the big event of the year, here in the D.C. area.   Old Dutch Farm

Hi there, I'm building a farm set in the 1920s of the last century. It's a farm nearby, a village called Bunnik. The farm isn't ready yet, but some vehicles and little scenes are. So I like to share with you: The chicken: (URL) The hay cart: (URL) (...) (17 years ago, 17-Mar-08, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.town, FTX) !!

  Re: Wind turbines

(...) Very nice! I built a prototype the same scale that used long rubber bands through the middle of the 2x2 rounds. After some running in, they ran very smoothly, and even allowed me to slew the base to simulate slewing of the nacelle. I haven't (...) (17 years ago, 14-Mar-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  staircase studies

(URL) i have been experimenting with a variety of designs to create curved staircases, and in some cases, wavy staircases. the designs here are all based on the same concept, but each varies slightly in building techniques using different stud (...)   Re: Wind turbines

(...) Matija, Quite ingenious...and what's really neat is that you've got the timing on them done perfectly! (Anybody that's seen some in action can attest to this!) (17 years ago, 13-Mar-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Wind turbines

(...) That's a very cool (albeit non-LEGO) solution, Matija! I made a wind turbine as part of my display for the FLL event last December and ran into the same problem, Mine for a futuristic home, so I was able to get away with building a 9v motor (...)   Wind turbines

Inspired by the last FLL theme, I figured out it would be nice to have wind turbines as part of the layout... even if they actually might not produce energy. At first I thought of having one (micro) motor on each of them, but that would get a bit (...) (17 years ago, 12-Mar-08, to lugnet.town, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !
