  Re: A Few Firehouses

(...) Thanks, Mark. L8 is my second favorite! Thanks again, Jonathan (18 years ago, 13-Jun-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: A Few Firehouses

(...) Your buildings are amazing. I especially like 18.jpg. Wonderful job!! --Mark (18 years ago, 13-Jun-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: A Few Firehouses

(...) Thanks! E289/L138 is my favorite. It took a couple of attempts to get it to where it is now. The first version came out really large. It is the most recent firehouse I have built as well, though it has been built for about two years. I tried (...) (18 years ago, 12-Jun-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: A Few Firehouses

(...) Incredible work, Jonathan! I'm sitting here drooling over the realism, the amazing attention to detail and the SNOT construction methods - especially on E289/L138's firehouse. Just awesome. -Steven (18 years ago, 12-Jun-06, to lugnet.town)

  A Few Firehouses

I decided to put all my firehouses into one folder on brickshelf (though, I forgot to take photos of one of them). Here they are: (URL) Some have been seen before, some have minor adjustments to previous versions and a couple haven't been shown (...)   Re: School's Out For Summer!

(...) The big trick is to attach the [LDrawPart 4073:36][LDrawPart 4073:57] upper "flashing" lights and yet keep the rounded edges of roof [LDrawPart 6191:14] visible when viewed directly from the front or rear. If I used a [LDrawPart 3666:0] as an (...) (18 years ago, 7-Jun-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: School's Out For Summer!

That's pretty sweet! Now you've gotta do a flat-fronted school bus! :-) (18 years ago, 6-Jun-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: School's Out For Summer!

(...) That's very cool, I've always been a fan of six-wide town vehicles. However, I think that the yellow hood looks a lot nicer than the black... Derek (18 years ago, 6-Jun-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: School's Out For Summer!

(...) Excellent. I just love the back of it. Though I don't drive more than a couple times a year, if that, I definitely remember what the back of a slow moving school bus looks like. Great work. Jonathan (18 years ago, 6-Jun-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  School's Out For Summer!

To honor of the end of the school year, I've built a six-wide school bus: (2 URLs) MOCpages> (URL) Brickshelf> No more pencils, No more books, No more teacher's dirty looks... Enjoy! Spencer (18 years ago, 6-Jun-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town, FTX) !!

Re: The Sunny Shores Retirement Home

(...) The beds look very institutional, and the rickety bridge is nice. Great work! Next, you should do (URL) Motel Hell>. Marc Nelson Jr. (URL) Marc's Creations>> (18 years ago, 5-Jun-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: The Sunny Shores Retirement Home

(...) I'm looking forward to seeing that on this Saturday's Sci-Fi channel orginal movie. (18 years ago, 5-Jun-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  The Sunny Shores Retirement Home

Welcome to... (URL) It has been awhile since I built a Town MOC, and places like this do exist in World City. "Big Daddy" Nelson (18 years ago, 5-Jun-06, to lugnet.town, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

My Own Inverse Pony Ear Bus Stop (was: "Raeynop" schleim technique)

(...) Yes, you are right. Sort of; it should be a 2wide plate (or a 2 + (2 * n) wide). This insight of yours and your reply to this (by now quite old) post got me thinking again about what this technique actually could be good for. The result was (...)   Would You Like To Play A Game Of Chess? I Play Very Well....

(URL) Built by my son, Ross. Portable. I lost my queen in our first game because I couldn't tell the pieces apart. He didn't care;-) Enjoy, JOHN (18 years ago, 29-May-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.general, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Pakistani Truck

(...) Agreed. I seem to have missed the jingle below the front in my version. (...) A little difficult to do in CAD or with my collection. If Joseph "bricks of mud" Williams would like to give it a go it might be possible ;) (...) Interesting idea. (...) (18 years ago, 25-May-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Pakistani Truck

(...) Problem with clikits and Belville parts is they're a bit too large for this scale. Of course what it really needs is to be made at Model Team scale to get full 100% bling. Tim (18 years ago, 25-May-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Pakistani Truck

(...) I agree, What it could use is some click-it parts and a few Belville colored parts. (18 years ago, 25-May-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)
