Modifed Classic Space helmet for town use.

Way back in 1979, I was worried about the possible replacement of the Legoland town stuff that I loved with the newcomer, Legoland Space. Sure it was nice to get lots of grey, but, at the time, I was convinced there were too many specialised parts. (...)   Re: Diner

(...) Thanks! Your stuff is great and it has inspired me plenty. And, you seem to crank it out very quickly. Keep pushing, always, but, you're already there. Thanks again, Jonathan (19 years ago, 22-Feb-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Diner

(...) Hi Jonathan, Just when I start designing buildings again you start posting stuff I could never dream of matching ;) It's a good push to try though. Once more an excellent model. Tim (19 years ago, 21-Feb-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Diner

Very cool. I like the color scheme a lot. I agree, this one seems much nicer than the previous version. Bruce (19 years ago, 21-Feb-06, to lugnet.town)

  Diner

I decided to redo my diner recently. I liked my first version, but thought it was to big and didn't have much soul. I had to make some sacrifices to reproduce it in a scale that I felt fit with my other buildings and layout but, I am really happy (...) (19 years ago, 21-Feb-06, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build) !

  Train Station

  Re: Moo

(...) It made quite a splash (URL) a few years ago>. I'm pretty sure more than 1 LTC has copied the idea. JOHN (19 years ago, 15-Feb-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Moo

I thought this was pretty cool . ... (URL) I don't think it would work in my layout, but it definitely would in some of the others out there. Jonathan (19 years ago, 15-Feb-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Layout of Jonathan Lopes

(...) Excellent point! (...) I'll take an overall picture or two within the next few days. I have been running around at night like I am 15 years younger this week and have only been home to sleep. This will continue for the rest of the week. For (...) (19 years ago, 15-Feb-06, to lugnet.town)

Re: My second Town Structure Contest Entry

(...) Hi Jonathan, I was a bit iffy about the door too but I think it is quite similar to the original building. Possibly a bit of creative tweaking would have made it better but I was trying to match the original as closely as possible because I (...) (19 years ago, 15-Feb-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: My second Town Structure Contest Entry

(...) Very impressive! The windows look really good and the garage door looks great too. I am also impressed with the quick turnaround time. I am wondering if the door (the people door) could be done differently? Somehow, it doesn't read as a door (...) (19 years ago, 15-Feb-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

My second Town Structure Contest Entry

Following Jonathon Lopes' discovery and (URL) of an amazing building I decided I had to build it. So here it is as an entry into Ondrew Hartigan's Town Structure Contest. (2 URLs) Big pic> (URL) angle> (URL) I avoided doing the mural because I (...) (19 years ago, 15-Feb-06, to lugnet.town, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

  Re: interesting windows

(...) Thanks very much, but no worries. Go for it. I am focused on a couple of other things right now and wouldn't be able to take this on anytime soon. I very much look forward to seeing your take on it. Thanks again, Tim. Jonathan (19 years ago, 15-Feb-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: interesting windows

(...) I just stole that for Ondrew's competition. If you want to use it let me know and I won't enter mine (finders keepers and all). Tim (19 years ago, 14-Feb-06, to lugnet.town)

  interesting windows

For anyone interested. . . Take a look at the 6th image down on this thread: (URL) I love the mural, but love even more the upper floor window design. The building colors are nice too. Jonathan (19 years ago, 14-Feb-06, to lugnet.town)

Re: Russell's Town Structure Contest Entries

(...) Forgot about those two stiffs; I like your entries, Russ! I really like that you've modeled from actual structures and I like your interpretations of them. Your use of color is excellent, especially with the lighthouse. Yum! They will be great (...) (19 years ago, 13-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Russell's Town Structure Contest Entries

Here are my entries. They might not be up to the caliber of John Neal or Jonathan Lopes, but here they are anyway: (URL) first one is a brand new building called the Ng Shing Gung Temple. I took a little bit of creative liberty on the colors, but I (...) (19 years ago, 13-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.town)
