Air Hockey table on LEGO Factory

I've made a minifig-scale air hockey table, as well as I could given the LEGO Factory constraints and the desire to keep the price as close to reasonable as I could (which is to say, I built it from a single kit — this was before the bag inventories (...) "Jim Garrett" <jsgarrett@twmi.rr.com> wrote in message news:IM0on4.1oGG@lugnet.com... (...) Very nice Jim! I like the graduated stripes at the corners especially, and the way you've dealt with the newer style roadplates. Good use of train windows (...)   Even newer roadplates

I notice in the latest S@H catalog that the roadplates seem to have changed again. They are now all black with white printing, and come in packages containing either a straight with an X, or a curve with a T. I can see there being an awful lot of (...) (19 years ago, 30-Aug-05, to lugnet.town)

  Art Deco Miami Hotel

Greetings: Here is my attempt to address a major problem: the near total absence of Art Deco architecture in the Lego townscape. This is a minifig scale version of a typical Miami Art Deco hotel from around 1930. Check out the (URL) MOC pages> for (...) (19 years ago, 30-Aug-05, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, FTX) !

  Re: LDD/Lego Factory Designed Chapel

(...) This looks like a decent MOC that *could* be available as a "MINI" scale item or a simple micro offering. I think this is a good example of one of the main drawbacks with this current setup. Has anyone put out a parts' pallete listing yet? (19 years ago, 29-Aug-05, to lugnet.town)

  Re: pl/ego airport

Matt, I could not agree with you more on this point. I have the past three Playmobil catalogs and they are a fantastic source of inspiration. Playmobil puts out a product line that really resembles LEGO of the late 80's & 90's. Strong themes and (...) (19 years ago, 25-Aug-05, to lugnet.town)

(...) Having a MOC that you were right next to at BF, thanks. ;-) I thought it was a great re-creation of the Playmobile set. During the summer we did a gift exchange in my LUG and one of the gifts was a re-creation of a Playmobile showjumping set. (...) (19 years ago, 24-Aug-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Stickers scans wanted...

Hi there, I have some old sets, without the stickers, long lost since my childhood. I tried to search on internet, but I haven't found good quality scans (printable). Anyone can help me? I need the scans of the stickers in sets 6363 or 374, for (...) (19 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.town)

Re: Joe Vig Meets a Lady (A Little Risque)

(...) It's a little off-color, but I don't think it's too bad. I mean, the violent mishaps to which poor Joe has been subjected might likewise garner more than a PG-rating, so Stephen is just pushing the envelope in another direction. For that (...)   Re: Joe Vig Meets a Lady (A Little Risque)

Nathan, cap yourself. I love it. It's a prime example of the sort of truly warped mindset Lugnet is all too short on. Good choice of faces and a good presentation - it goes from merely sleazy to disturbing very nicely :D. Soren (19 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.town) !

Re: Joe Vig Meets a Lady (A Little Risque)

(...) I...honestly...don't like it. I just don't like the idea of putting innocent Joe into "adult" situations like this. I prefer G and at the most PG rated humor for vignettes. -- Nathan Wells (19 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.town)

(...) Looks great! I hope to see this on LEGO Factory soon... it's the sort of model I would most likely buy for our town layout. Best, – Joe (19 years ago, 22-Aug-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Two Joe Vig Vignettes

Two Joe Vig Vignettes First, I had this idea to make a pool table. I wanted to do a pub scene, but the pool table was too big. So I changed it to Joe Vig.
