  Dirt Bike

When I got set 7235, I quickly noticed that the motorcycle fairing was really, really big. So looked at the actual bike frame (URL) was showing this to Gary McIntire, and he quickly started adding pieces to it. He experimented until we were both (...) (20 years ago, 21-Mar-05, to lugnet.town)

  Re: U.S.S. Vignette

(...) Steve, That's a pretty cool idea, akin to the moonbase project. Do you have an overall layout you are building out to? Ed (20 years ago, 20-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.town, lugnet.general, lugnet.build.military)

Re: Two Vignettes and a Funeral

(...) Those were all very good, especially the beach one. The Southern California wave rider in me came out when I saw it.   Re: U.S.S. Vignette (New Room)

Decided that three vignettes weren't enough for today, so I added a new room to my submarine: The Bunk Room, where the sailors can catch up on their 'Z's, in tiny cramped beds. (URL) The whole boat (yes I said boat, submarines are technically boats, (...) (20 years ago, 19-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.town, lugnet.general, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build)

Re: Two Vignettes and a Funeral

Very nice! The sun bathing one is my favorite! In fact, I had nearly the very same idea for a Joe Vig vignette! I think the wave might look better if it had some transparent blue and white pieces in it, but the shape itself looks good. The Floor Is (...)   Two Vignettes and a Funeral

Hey all, Spent the morning making three vignettes: This one is from a scene in my favorite movie, which I was watching while I was building.
