Re: TLG wants your input on the CITY line

(...) I read in another post that Lego wants to target the sets to 5-10 year-olds. I have 2 kids in that range. There are several MOCs on Brickshelf that I think Lego could take inspiration from and produce sets. My two boys agree that they would (...) (16 years ago, 8-Jul-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Auburn Boat Tail

Really, really gorgeous! You captured the simplicity and depth of the design all on a very tight scale. It is great to see a MOC that simply impresses without mentioning any detail. I'm glad you took the time to buld this. Thanks for sharing and God (...) (16 years ago, 8-Jul-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

(...) Wow, that beauty would have been difficult to model on a larger scale to begin with - your job of adapting it to minifig scale was even more difficult... ...and solved successfully. Thanks for sharing, Jerry (16 years ago, 8-Jul-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: First National Bank of LEGO

(...) Jonathan: Thanks for the kind words and the great idea! I agree that a foundation layer of light bley would probably set it off nicely. The good news is that (as you pointed out) it is quite sturdy. Thus, adding a two-plate layer to the bottom (...) (16 years ago, 8-Jul-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Auburn Boat Tail

Some years ago, my wife and I toured the (URL) Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum> with her grandfather. I had always appreciated older cars, but have really never found any to be truly impressive until I visited this particular museum. I was blown away (...)   Re: TLG wants your input on the CITY line

(...) Hello Tim, How about a theme like "Inner City Transportation". Besides trains, planes and automobiles, people in cities tend to use other means of transportation to get around. I am thinking of the following types of sets: 1. A taxi or (...) (16 years ago, 7-Jul-08, to lugnet.town)

Re: First National Bank of LEGO

(...) I love it. Great job. It looks incredibly solid as well. Dark bley and sand green work really well together. I like the solution to the roof line at the corner of the building too. The only thing I might have done differently would have been (...) (16 years ago, 7-Jul-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)
