Well, don't feel too bad, the contest is open to those who are of age 7 to
14 as of 5/10/01. Lego also requires certification of age, and the ability
to use the winner's likeness for advertising, so it would be a bitch to
fake. The mask is also only one of several prizes.
I would guess that there will be a 'general release' gold mask. Either among
the mask packs, or as a special offer of some kind. Whether it's chrome gold
or real gold or something in between will probably depend on how they sell
it and who they think they're selling it to.
Interestingly, if you're from Canada, you must also answer a mathematics
skills question within a given period of time. I guess Canada has some rule
about contests involving some sort of test of skills.
"What does 1 + 1 equal? You have 1 hour to answer."
For those of you who have a 7-14 year old, there are two gold mask clues in
the May-June Mania magazine.
