Since I'm getting more and more into the Technic stuff I'm trying to build models which can operate like the real ones. I have many, many Technic sets but 95% of them are from the period 1977 to approx. 1999. Since then I haven't bought Technic sets (...) (22 years ago, 13-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)

(...) The "Spybotics" sets all have the double-bevel gears. If you're lucky, you can find the sets on clearance - I got lucky and scored three of them at 75% off after Christmas at a not-so-local Target... I'm going to hazard a *guess* that Lego (...) (22 years ago, 13-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)

(...) The 8448 Supercar, 8466 4x4, and the 8457 Power Puller. I think they all have two of each, the Power Puller may have more. They are are fairly expensive (depending on what you consider expensive), like $100 US or so each. But they all have a (...) (22 years ago, 13-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.general)
