Sorry, I wish I knew how to fix the movie for you.  The speed part is a
definite concern.

To get that speed up you'd need a pretty big airsupply like an industrial
compressor or something? Does the thin pneumatic hoses deliver enough air? • My guess is no.  I have 2 hoses to supply 3 valves.

Will the motor produce enough power with the high speed? • I hope.

How will you stop the thing from rotating? Will there be a tail fan or twin
rotors? • Contra rotation - one rotor over the other.

And how on earth do you convert the back-n-forth jerking motions of that model
team hub with the pistons into a rotating drive shaft!?!
The piston rods are pinned to the 6 holes around the center hole of the model
team hub.  The crankshaft runs through the center hole.  Normaly the connecting
ring (model team hub) would be part of the master piston rod.  Amazingly enough
it seems to work without that rigid connection.  The model team hub does not
jerk. I think because the pistons are always pushing it in one direction.

Hi again, I forgot to preview the previous post and messed it up a little. Here is (I hope) a fix to the parts that weren't clear. The rest has been omitted. Sorry and thanks. (...) My guess is no. I have 2 hoses supplying 3 valves. (...) I hope. (...) (21 years ago, 4-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)
