I'll have to get better pics on a flat surface. The idea is that by using
the turntables as track wheels, when the robot is the lower position, the
front camera assembly is about as tall as the tracks themselves, like in the
original VGTV

Unfortunately, the tread link design is less than good. Some plates remain
attached, some fall off. Prehaps glue them?

That's the general idea, which works very well. However, it being a
comissioned work, I cannot provide extensive detail (which is found in the
book). You might want to play around with the exact placement: not
necessarily in the middle, but yes in between the bottom two turntables.
