| (...) 8448 is loaded with beams, albeit ones with holes along its sides. I would say almost half the whole model is beams. I just took mine apart yesterday to make room for my 3 droids. Trust me, lots and lots of beams. Jason F. (25 years ago, 17-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)

| Yes, but 8448 is a 99 set. For 2000 there are now five holed and a fifteen holed beams with no studs (and rounded ends), which appear to be a replacements for the 5 and 15 holed studded technic beams. I'll bet that in the next couple years we'll see (...) (25 years ago, 17-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)
