Hi i just signed up for this forum/newsgroup. mainly becuase i wanted to show off this design i've been working on. Its a front wheel drive system that has steering and fits into a 10 stud space (8 stud steering beams) It works quite well, has a (...) (22 years ago, 17-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)

You can support the diff with half beams, and have the space for bevel gears to engage the horizontal ones. Or use standard (...) (22 years ago, 23-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: front wheel drive system

That is a pretty neat assembly, and one could probably reroute each wheel's geartrain to a differential somewhere in the back as well. It might be worth replacing the crown gear/16-tooth gear linkage near each wheel with a 20-tooth bevel (...) (22 years ago, 26-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)
