There are actually only 2 specialised parts - the CV joint and the 3 pin hub with steering arms - (of which you need 4 of each) in the mechanism that arn't "commonly" available in other sets. The rest of the mechanism is universal joints, new (...) (22 years ago, 8-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)
