Height in the picture is about 2m. I plan on extending the jib using 10L
axles, to get it close to the max scale height for the LG1550 of about 3m.

Not tested yet 8?) In the SDWB configuration, it lifted the beam in the
picture fairly easily, which is about 90g. To make it similar in max lift to
the LG1550, it would have to lift about 800g, but only in the SD
configuration. Note that the LG1550's max lift of 550t is only attainable at
a radius of 4.5m, over the rear.

I agree! Although my next major minifig-scale construction will be using
quite a few more bricks ;?)
