The general answer is (I think) that sets have a ~2 year life cycle. A
particular chain (WalMart, K-Mart, etc) may discontinue a set before or
after TLC does. Some sets seem to hang around forever, some seem to
vanish. Target just blew out the Mos Espa pod race set after being out
only a year (or so).
