I used two of the medium pulleys with small spacer between them as a drive for
these treads. I am still experimenting with the correct distance   between the
axles. using a technic beam it fits but puts a fair amount of tension on the
axles... meaning with long term use or sitting on a shelf together it probably
will bend the axles. I am thinking about making a three hub per tread
configuration....

Can you use a different hub with those treads?

I haven't found one that works well. They're a new size.

It seems like a really silly decision!

I did discover that the real hub actually fits snug directly on to a micromotor; but a micromotor is bigger than the hub so you would have to you the tread in a triangle configuration with the drive hub at the top. Chris Lego Walker now @ (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)
