Amazing work,
Im still trying to figure out exactly how it works.
Can you add another top view picture from the other side of the car?
(to see the gear train along the far side)

| I made a three speed, fully mechanical, automatic transmission a few weeks ago, and put a description of it on a web page. It uses a locking differential to select the gears, and I've not seen that done in lego before. If you are interested, the URL (...) (23 years ago, 26-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic) !!
