To be honest the 8680 set does nothing for me, it seem's to have very little
purpose, bur if your serious about building a snow mobile I'd be very
interested. Would it be full tracked, half track (like my G.I.JOE one) or
tracked-articulated like the real ones the british army use. Either would
make an interesting vehicle. Half track might be the best for internal usage
closely followed by full tracked, then you'd just have to come up with a
design for interesting bodywork.

You should of course throw away the ski's and add tracks. You could even
throw away what you already have and start affresh so the trailer would
match the tow vehicle. The real trailers have tracks so a walking mechanism
is a complete non starter.
