Shock difference?

Hi,
Is there a difference in how firm the different color shocks are?
Specificaly the light and dark grey ones.
I need to stiffen the suspention in my 8448.

| (...) I haven't really noticed any difference in them aside from the color. Your best bet would probably be to try to use the stiffer yellow shock. These come with the 8458 Silver Champion and I've also heard that they can be obtained from Pitsco's (...) (24 years ago, 9-Feb-01, to lugnet.technic)
