The gear is called a conical gear. It was a part of the gear service pack sold by S@H. They do not show them on their site but you could ask on the phone. Check here for the plate with toothing. (URL) tells you the set numbers. -- Bob Fay (...) (25 years ago, 27-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I don't think that any of the sets currently available come with this. It can be somewhat hard to come by a Super Street Sensation these days but you might be able to get one from an auction (since it just sold out prices are still pretty low (...) (25 years ago, 27-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

Hej! (...) Simply call or mail Lego customer service, just two weeks ago I got two new motors for two other ones which had the same symptoms (well, one was stiff, the other one was totally blocked).
