If you dig back in the archives a couple of weeks to my original description of the amendments I explained it. The original instructions erroneously show the rubber bands on the bottom. If you can, use a worm to drive the rack; you'll be better off. It'll take more load and if some of the other stages in your gear train break or slip (You'll want to have a belt stage in there somewhere so you won't break things anyway), the rack (...)
