The 8448 is included in the little shop at home catalog that came with the new The Boss RoboRider I bought at Target this weekend. (The Indy Storm has an overprint that it is not available.) The only other physical location I ever saw them at was (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

I was just over to my local K-mart and they had put out 5 or 6 each of the 10 small Throwbots, so I got one went to the checkout and instead of 6 dollars it scanned for 50 cents!!, yep that's $.50, HALF a buck!!. They probably stopped making them a year ago, left them in the S@H catalog as long as they had a big stack of them in the warehouse, and are only down to a handfull now. It's still up at shop.lego.com until that last handfull is gone, that way (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

Yeah i saw those pieces on in the instructions for the Claw rig but i thought they were solid plastic ie. not flexible. But there you go... (...) 8074 and 8485 have lots of these parts but can be somewhat hard to come by. Your best bet at the moment would probably be the 8479 Barcode Multi-set (I think this is still available). The 8457 Power Puller also has two small lengths of flex (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)
