Hi, I've been thinking about this for about a week and can't come up with anything. I even looked at the 8880 instructions but I couldn't figure out how to make the conversion. Does anyone have any ideas? Any Help Apreciated! Thanks! Gary (25 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

8456 had the fiber optics, but is hard to find. The micro motors were available as a service pack. That way you'd get the proper brackets to mount it (top and bottom, rather than two bottom pieces like you get with the space shuttle). Check (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Actually they do have a few beams, but not nearly enough. Parts of the main chassis are made of beams (at least on 8457 and 8458, not sure about 8279) but the rest of the vehicle is all anglular axle connectors, flexible axles, etc. As for the (...)
