  Identifying defective pnumatic damper/spring/shock

I want to buy some resale pneumatic shocks. Is there a way to identify the defective early version? I'm not sure if Lego would send me new ones if I didn't get them from a kit myself, or if these were replaced once already. Thanks, -Amnon (25 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

That set also had the Translucent white axles, I just found a half of one in my "old Lego" box when I was confirming I (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Unknown Technic Promo?

Dude! I was going to post the same question but can't find the directions now. I have that set and the instruction sheet. I live in the States though. I'm thinking it was a General Mills thing but I don't know, Mom got it for me back in the 80's. (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.promo, lugnet.technic)
