Just picked up a copy of this set at WalMart in San Jose and being the LEGO maniac that I am put it together eagerly last night in a couple of hours. Now I usually don't complain too much about Lego's set designs but this set baffles me with regard (...) (25 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

This has been bugging me since the first time I saw the Bionicle catalogue pages. Isn't "Mata Nui" the name of the island that Harrison Ford and Anne Heche are stranded on in "Six Days Seven Nights"? Or at least the one that Ford thinks they're on? (...) (25 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

I was at Walmart this weekend as part of my post-holiday trolling, looking for all those odd sets that pop up on the shelves when everything new is sold out and I found the new Roborider boss, #8516 and one of the new racer sets, I forget which one (...) (...) Something that uses Polarity Switches, Pneumatics and engines. Some electronic pneumatic switches would be fine.
