 | | Announcing the Seattle Mindstorms and Robotic Techies
After the November 6th "Workshop 3D LEGO RCX Challenge" in Seattle, Gus Jansson and I decided it was time to start a LEGO Robot specific group in this area. Well, it's about a month later, and we're through talking, time for some action! So this is (...) | | Original Clock Design
I have a working draft of a weight-powered pendulum clock made of Lego. I keep improving it all the time, and I am going to make it strike the hours, but right now here is what I have. It runs for 8 hours, it tells time, it can be rewound with a (...) (25 years ago, 12-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

 | | Pneumatic pressure measuring devices
Does anyone know of an air pressure gauge that is compatible with the Lego pneumatic system? If such an item exists, where can I buy it? I'm working on a school project which involves Lego air compressors and I need a way to accurately measure the (...) (25 years ago, 12-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

Oops. It looks like in your list you exchanged the labels of #3 and #5. And it occurs to me that the splines had to be set so that the half bushings could be pushed together and lock when on the same axle. I would have to take a look to see if that (...) And I just got one for my Birthday! It took coaching a FIRST LEGO League team, but I *finally* have my parents (and my in-laws) convinced that 33 is NOT too old for LEGO :-) -Peter Coach, FLL Team #1096: The Unibots #2 in California State (...) Hi, you should still be able to download them from here: (URL) you have any trouble I have them, but they are large. (...) Yes, I agree that this is an interesting function. I've used the same kind of mechanism in many of my own MOCs, as it allows for tighter turns without the friction you would get with a normal setup. While the CodePilot unit itself is fairly (...) | | Code Pilot is Fantastic RCX add-on!
I bought a CodePilot last year when S@H had them on sale for $US100. The LEGO outlet store in Cookstown Ontario is rumored to have a few left. Anyways, the box was gathering dust until I had finished a major project - the project is still not done, (...) (25 years ago, 9-Dec-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

You can still get the 5278 chain links from Lego Australia for $7.50 for 35, but I think the ones with tracks on them are only available from Dacta. Martin ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jonathan Wilson" <jonwil@tpgi.com.au> To: (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)
