| Hi everyone.. I have heard that the damped shocks in the 8448 set are known to break... I think mine are starting to go, the spring on one is pushing through the endcap and bits of plastic are breaking off inside.... Is this were they normally (...) | (...) The point which is most likely to fail is right where the wire goes into the end-plate. This is because thats where most bending occurrs most often. The more it gets bent this way & that, the more likely it is to separate inside the (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)
