Hi! I wonder why so far nobody has mentioned the new LEGO Technic product that is shown in one of the large pictures of the photo gallery. Looks like we will get more Cyberslam-like stuff later this year. I copied the relevant images into the (...) (25 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.technic, lugnet.year.2001)

Hello World, I'm sorry to be a pain, this is probably a question that gets asked quite a few times, but... Is there a site on the Internet somewhere that has the building instructions that comes with lego sets in, for example, PDF format? My son has (...) (25 years ago, 6-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)
 
  Escapement efficiency (Re: Gear train friction?)
 
A 1 rotation/ 36 second escapement is going to be really tough. Mine is 1 turn / 8 seconds, and is is close to the edge of the reliability envelope. The big problem is that the escapement must come to a complete stop with every pendulum swing, and (...) (25 years ago, 6-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)
