(...) It has a very well designed rear suspension. The shock absorber is mounted in the centre of the bike, just under the seat. (...) I have heard (and seen from pictures on the web) that the tyre from eg. 8880 does fit the rear wheel hub from 8417, and the 8880 wheel has the same outside diameter as the 8422 wheels. The question is whether the inside diameter of the 8880 (...) (25 years ago, 24-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

Just a slghtly related question...does this set include a suspension system? In the pictures I could not see any visible spring shocks, but the previous-generation motorcycles had suspension, so I'm not sure... (25 years ago, 24-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)
