Hi, can anybody comment on the old pneumatic pistons, those in e.g. 8851? They seem to have only one connector, so it seems that you can only push them out, not retract them like the new ones in e.g. 8462. Or is there some spring inside to contract (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

Nice! I've been looking for good escapement designs, because I want to build a lego structure that is capable of lowering itself by means of its own weight, but at a set rate. A pendulum/escapement combination seems to be the best way to regulate (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)
