Does anyone know a cheap set that contains 'Technic ball with grooves'? See link for part: (URL) bought a used set of Super Car 8880 and there was only 3 of them in the box, 3 wheel drive is only 3/4 cool as to a 4 wheel drive car. I have been told (...) (24 years ago, 8-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) box, (...) but (...) Thanks! That where I have seen one, and it's even clearly visible at the side of the 'chopper'! Good reason for buying a new technics set too.. :) Now I only have to hope for that the local toy shop has one. (24 years ago, 8-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

May I ask what you are going to use the balls with grooves for? They have pretty limited usefulness, as they only mesh with the specialized wheel assembly from 8880 and the rotor from e.g. 8444. Fredrik (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)
