(...) Thanks! So do I :) (...) It's from before my dark ages, mainly the 8851 Excavator and the 8660 Arctic Rescue, I also got two with the 8843 Fork Lift truck. They usually look better then they work since they tend to slip a lot, but in this case (...) (25 years ago, 3-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

(...) No it is not. This set was a mid-2000 release in Germany and some other countries, but will be a 2001 set in the US. Several other recent sets have been released outside the US before being released here. For example, the 4930 Rock Raiders (...) (25 years ago, 3-Nov-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.technic)

(...) I have about 16 motors and I have had, out of the box, 6 motors DOA... Other friends have more then 20 motors with 0 failures... I can only guess that I'm cursed with motors.
