Hmmm, I just spoke to both (800) 453-4652 and (800) 835-4386, and both said that the kit wouldn't street (at least in the US) until September 15. - Sean (24 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Correction, I just called (800) 835-4386 and they definitely DO have them in supply for $99. I'll be holding off until I see it sitting in Toys R Us. It was the Power Puller (8457) and Formula I Racer (8458) that are not in stock. - Sean (24 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I glanced at one on the shelf at Family Toy over the weekend. I'm not currently looking to buy anything that big, so I didn't look very closely. But they definately had a few on the shelf. I didn't really like the look of the AT-AT on the box (...) (24 years ago, 7-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)
