    Set 8482 —Sonnich Jensen
Hi A friend gave me a used set 8482 - now I wonder what to :) I am going to use some parts of it, but: 1) there is no remote control - only the receiver / motor - how much can it do? Any idea of keeping it? There is an extra motor, it can be (...) (14 years ago, 27-Jun-10, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Set 8482 —Jetro de Chateau
(...) Hi there, Did you have a look at the inventory? As long as you have RF tower and the antennas (at least 2 of them) in addition to the big blue/green brick you are fine. There are indeed 3 touch sensors in the set and a couple of electric wires (...) (14 years ago, 27-Jun-10, to lugnet.technic)

        Re: Set 8482 —Sonnich Jensen
(...) Thanks The robotics Cybermaster group looks dead - nothing for 2 years. I do not have the remote control (RF tower), as I found in the papers and invetory. I dont have time, but I am thinking of taking the elektronics out and building my own. (...) (14 years ago, 27-Jun-10, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

Re: Set 8482 —Jetro de Chateau
(...) You are right, but there are people (like me) who read it. (...) Good, then you are set (don't forget the antennas). (...) It was available in Dutch from an FTP that has since disappeared, but honestly, unless you want the building (...) (14 years ago, 27-Jun-10, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics.cybermaster, FTX)

Hello again, It is a dutch version of cybermaster software. And it needs to be run on windows 98 or something like that. It doesn't like windows XP or windows 7 Greetings, Maico Arts Op 27-6-2010 20:43, Jetro de Chateau schreef: (...) (14 years ago, 13-Jul-10, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

Re: Set 8482 —Jetro de Chateau
(...) XP doesn't like the Cybermaster CD because o a compatibility issue with QuickTime. You can still get access to the building instructions though. Just make sure you change folder properties so it'll show hidden files and folders. Jetro (14 years ago, 13-Jul-10, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

        Re: Set 8482 —Eric Albrecht
(...) I downloaded the image and installed the software, but I can't find any files that seem to represent the building instructions, even with hidden files shown. Which directory are the file in? Eric Albrecht (14 years ago, 15-Jul-10, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

Re: Set 8482 —Jetro de Chateau
(...) The building instructions are contained in .mov files. (yeah, I know, not really practical, but it's what you can get.) The files are located under /shared/build. Jetro (14 years ago, 15-Jul-10, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

        Re: Set 8482 —Eric Albrecht
(...) I found the files. The trick is that they NOT in the directory which is installed on your hard drive when you install the software, they remain on the CD so you have to look inside the ISO file. Since these are all video files (MOV), it is (...) (14 years ago, 16-Jul-10, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

        Re: Set 8482 —Jonathan Wilson
(...) There exist programs (not sure where) that can convert a video file into a series of still images. From there, it could be converted into a set of building instructions. (14 years ago, 17-Jul-10, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)
