Hi there! So I'm getting the gears running again and LUGNET has died, more or less. Where have all the Technic buffs gone to do their chit-chat? I've found this blog (URL) which keep me sort of in the loop... (15 years ago, 11-Feb-10, to lugnet.technic)

Here is my current favourite MOC: (2 URLs) It's a Lego implementation of an amazing mechanical puzzle invented by Oskar van Deventer and Bram Cohen, as seen here: (URL) I can't improve on the explanation given in this second video - just watch it! (...) Hmm, I had dabbled with a similar solution, but inverted (with the motor driving the bottom gear and the two side gears the two outputs, but discarded it for reasons that escape me at the moment. I must investigate this further. Thanks! Owen. (15 years ago, 2-Feb-10, to lugnet.technic)

Here is yet another possible solution that I have found effective for something very similar (a vehicle that reverses its direction when it hits an obstacle). I've just posted a new update to (URL). This is an unusual update in that it does not add any new years of models (although I am working on 1995).
