I had something else I forgot to mention earlier: one of my 2L notched pins still had a considerable amount of flash that had to be cut off.

The tolerances seem slightly off too, some of the longer studless beams take a lot of force to get the 3L friction pins in, and some of the grey axles don’t rotate easily in the axle holders.

(...) I didn't notice any trouble, but it's cool that you've already started modding it. I did get a damaged piece- a 3L technic pin was useless. Lucky I have spares! (17 years ago, 29-Oct-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)
