I think most certainly a combined fluidics would be in order first. Im surprised there was not already a .pneumatics, as it would seem like an obvious group. Not that I have contributed, but I do follow the pneumatics thread with great interest. I (...) (19 years ago, 21-Nov-05, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Nice work. With the exhaust sealed off, I figure the piston will move up and down gradually and gracefully rather than the quick movement that we're used too, because of the cushioning effect. This would be fine for an application like a (...) (19 years ago, 21-Nov-05, to lugnet.technic)

(...) No - exhaust! (...) You need to eventually discharge the compressed air (or vacuum) in a pneumatic system. Interestingly enough, this is the first time I heard of a pneumatic system using compressed air and vacuum at the same time. Usually (...) (19 years ago, 21-Nov-05, to lugnet.technic)
